THE magical story of Peter Pan was told through a gym and dance spectacular at the Cotswold School.

Students at the Bourton-based academy performed the sell-out show, Flight to Neverland, last Wednesday and Thursday evening.

More than 150 students took part in the fusion of gymnastics and dance inspired by J M Barrie’s children’s classic.

Headteacher Will Morgan said the amount of work and dedication shown by everyone involved was “nothing short of awe-inspiring”.

“While these events take an enormous amount of work and time over and above an already busy school day, our fantastic teachers recognise that the extra effort is worth it for the students,” he said.

“These events are a vital ingredient in making school an enriching, lively experience and our students are given wonderful, lasting memories of their days at the Cotswold School.”

Proceeds will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
