CHILDREN at Swell Primary School have been celebrating the life of a famous Scottish poet.
The Year 4 class celebrated the birthday of Robert Burns on Friday by researching the poet and making a presentation to their junior class mates.
They even cooked and served haggis to the class along with some Scottish flapjacks which they all enjoyed. The youngsters then got into the spirit of their highland counterparts by singing Auld Lang Syne, which was written by Robert Burns.
Pictured are Niamh Laughlin, left, Lilly Arthurs and Guy Sparks with their haggis.
