Helping heroes

First published in News

AN Evesham college has been thanked by Help for Heroes after they raised and donated £1,600 to the military charity.

Ian Baldry, of H4H, visited South Worcestershire College in Evesham, to personally thank staff and students for having raised the money at an armed forces day last year.

He explained as part of the defence recovery programme H4H is financing a £65 million programme to develop and equip four personnel recovery centres, which will provide a home for recovering injured servicemen and women while they move onto the next phase of their lives.

The money raised and donated by the college will go towards the funding of this programme. For more details or to make a donation, visit
