CHILDREN at a Vale preschool have been enjoying out door activities as part of a new forest school.

Eckington Under Fives in Eckington, near Pershore, started holding the forest school as part of its weekly programme when Sue Jones joined the team in November.

She said: “When I joined I already had forest school training and we have set one up here. The children absolutely love it. The idea originated in Sweden and is a way of children learning outside. Some of the children’s behaviour is different at forest school.

“During forest school they can make things from natural items and it helps their development. We go outside whatever the weather.
