TWO men have been charged following an assault on a teenager in the Cotswolds.

The assault on the 16-year-old boy happened on a road that runs between Bourton and Great Rissington on Friday, December 7 between 11.20pm and 11.45pm.

During the assault, the teenager suffered cuts and bruising and the boy’s bank card was stolen.

Jake Pipping, aged 18, of The Leys, Chipping Norton, has been charged with possession of a controlled class B drug, robbery, criminal damage and intimidation of a witness.

Jordan Gaughan, also aged 18, of Compton Road, Withington, near Cheltenham, has been charged with robbery and criminal damage.

They are both due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on February 18.
