POLICE are looking for a man who was seen smashing a window of a hotel in Bourton.

A man was seen to kick the front window pane of the Chester House Hotel, in Victoria Street, at about 10:40pm yesterday, causing it to smash.

He then left the area on foot.

The man was white and wearing a long sleeved white top and jeans.

A number of people were in the area around the time of the incident and officers would like to speak to them.

Witnesses are asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 433 of January 2.
