PROPOSALS for a new development of 160 homes in Stow are going out for public consultation.

Bovis Homes have drawn up proposals for the site on land off Oddington Road, next to the King Georges Field, and are looking for feedback ahead of submitting a planning application in the New Year.

A public exhibition is being held at St Edward’s Hall tomorrow from 2pm to 8pm where the plans will be on display and members of the project team will be on hand to discuss the proposals.

Nevin Holden, Bovis Homes South West Strategic Land Director, said: “We believe that working in partnership with the local community results in better developments and we are looking forward to meeting the residents and discussing the proposals with them.

“We’ve had positive discussions with Stow Town Council about the plans which I believe will be of great benefit to the local area, providing much-needed brand new homes for the town as well as boosting the local economy.

“Our vision is to create a high-quality, sustainable new neighbourhood for local people with a broad mix of new homes that will complement and enhance the surrounding area.”

Any residents who are unable to attend the event tomorrow can view the plans at bovishomes.co.uk/stow and leave comments.
