AN Evesham sports club has installed a new sewage pumping system thanks to £24,000 in grants from Severn Waste and £10,000 from Wychavon District Council. The money also helped it fund a new barrier and floodlights. Bob Bailey, chairman of the club, said: “The whole lot cost us about £70,000. It was working before the recent floods.
Without it the sewage tank would have been flooded.”
