THE Save Broadway Campaign, which is lobbying to stop development in the village, has raised £700.
The campaigners, who oppose the South Worcestershire Development Plan, are now hoping to gather 100,000 signatures on a petition against the plan and take their concerns to Parliament.
If they are successful they will request the sites in Broadway earmarked for development – Station Road, Leamington Road, Averill Close and Kingfisher Court – are removed from the plan. For details, visit savebroadway.co.uk.
