THE opening of a new fish and chip shop in Broadway raised £600 for Mencap.
The shop offers traditional fish and chips alongside gourmet dishes including salt and pepper squid, potted shrimp, home-made fishcakes, monkfish and plaice.
Owner Andrew Riley said: “We have had a wonderful first few days, serving meals to friends and neighbours and also meeting lots of new people.”
