IT IS not every day you reach the final of a national talent competition when you are on holiday.

But Aimee Robinson Clayton, a member of the Evesham- based Vital Statistics Theatre Group, made an exception when she went on holiday to Dawlish Warren, in Devon, with her family.

The 11-year-old won first place in the final of Park Holidays Got Talent last month and is set to take part in the grand final in Essex, representing the Dawlish Sands branch of Park Holidays UK, this weekend.

The national final is being held at Seawick Holiday Park, near Colchester, which holds 3,000 people and will be the biggest biggest audience Aimee has ever performed in front of.

Aimee’s mum Sue said: “I am very proud of Aimee, who is very modest about her achievements. We are very excited about the forthcoming show.

“She was up against some strong competition and was judged by industry professionals, who have worked with big names in the music business.

“She pulled out all the stops to provide a performance which raised the roof and blew the judges away.”
