Crash victim’s church service

A SERVICE of thanksgiving for a much-loved wife and mother-of-three will be held on Monday.

Diana Burgess, aged 40, of Pershore Road, Hampton, Evesham, died in a motorcycle crash on the A46 between Beckford and Ashton-under- Hill on October 16. The service is taking place at St Andrews Church, Hampton, at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

She leaves husband Kevin and her three ‘princesses’ Hannah, aged five, Eva, three, and Emma, two, as well as other family.

Mrs Burgess, who was born in Nijmegen in The Netherlands, died when her Kawasaki 650cc motorcycle was involved in a crash with a car.

Donations made at the service will be held in trust for the children’s future.

􀁥 The driver of a Peugeot 308 involved in the crash – a man in his 40s from Bristol – was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and had been bailed.
