CHILDREN at an Evesham school have been busy building colourful communities as part of technology week.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School were visited by Lego and used the famous bricks to create their own towns complete with ecofriendly energy sources and transport links.

Jackie Smith, headteacher at the school, said: “It was absolutely fantastic. I think every single child enjoyed the day. It was part of technology week and they had been doing lots of different things in school and developing from the design process.

“The project ran alongside a building project on site as we are having new classrooms built. So the builders were involved and the project manager came and examined what the children had done.”
