Thousands of pounds stolen from Cotswold pub

THOUSANDS of pounds have been stolen in a burglary in Gretton.

The burglary at the Royal Oak happened between midnight and 9.20am yesterday when thieves entered the building and stole cash from the safe.

Officers investigating the burglary are appealing for anyone that saw or heard anything suspicious in the area in the early hours of yesterday.

Information can be given by calling Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 73 of October 29.
