Stories brought to life at school
STORIES were brought to life at Swell Primary School during book week. Tony Keats, owner of the Cotswold Book Store in Moreton, dropped in to read the children extracts from one of their favourite books, Justin Thyme by Panama Oxbridge. Book week takes place in October every year and has been running for the past 80 years, celebrating reading for pleasure.
The children also visited the Cheltenham Literary Festival where the junior class attended a workshop with bestselling author Cressida Cowell while the infants had fun with Korky Paul, the award-winning illustrator.
