Evesham and District crib League
MONDAY night's annual general meeting revealed that the past season had been a difficult one for funds although there was still a small credit balance.
A planned crib drive cancelled last July was a big blow and members were urged to make a special effort to attend any drives organised in the new season.
Minor alterations were approved by the meeting and will now see three points deducted for a late result.
Results must also now be received by the Monday following the match date and any postponed games must be played within two months of the original date.
Notice of postponement must be made 24 hours prior to the match or a £10 payment will be required to cover the cost of refreshments.
The new season is set to start with a crib drive on September 1 at the Hospital Club when teams will be able to collect fixture books and pay any outstanding fees and fines.
