WHEN it comes to comedy, some say, if you go down well in Evesham you're ready for Edinburgh.
A local audience can find out this is actually true when two brave comics come to town, on Friday, July 15, to perform at the Evesham Arts Centre.
Chris Stokes will bring his "8½ Stone of Vegan Fury", and Alfie Moore will be "Getting Away With Murder".
A spokesman explained: "Every August comedians from across the UK appear at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, and every July a few of the best try out their festival shows in Evesham first."
