IT will be 'bon voyage' and fun all the way when Pershore’s Operatic and Dramatic Society sets sail on a madcap transatlantic crossing in Cole Porter’s hit musical comedy, "Anything Goes!"

Don’t miss your embarkation dates, which are Monday June 13 to Saturday, June 18, from 7.30 pm each evening, at Number 8 Community Arts Centre in Pershore.

A spokesman said: "As the SS American steams from New York to London, bold young broker Billy resolves to win debutante delight, Hope, from her unlikely engagement to British buffoon, Lord Evelyn.

"This is a classic farce of mistaken identities and surprise twists and turns unfolds as a hilarious array of fellow passengers assist Billy’s increasingly desperate and hilarious quest."

With glorious songs, such as I get a Kick Out of You, You’re the Top and Blow Gabriel, and tap dancing to the smash title number, Anything Goes, and with elegant 1930’s costumes in the mix, "a frothy, feel good, foot-tapper of an evening is promised."

The spokesman said: "It’s a must of a muster."
