SHAKESPEARE famously said "all the world's a stage", and now it seems that much of Stratford is to become a radio studio, for live broadcasts.

As part of the BBC Shakespeare Festival, BBC Radio 3 will be resident and broadcasting this month from various venues in Stratford, under a project called "Sounds of Shakespeare".

The broadcasts will all take place over the "anniversary weekend", April 22 to April 24, which marks the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, in 1616.

Broadcasts will take place from the RSC’s The Other Place theatre and at venues around Stratford-Upon-Avon, including beside the River Avon, Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare is buried, and in a glass pop-up studio in the Foyer of The Other Place.
