LECHLADE will play host to its sixth, three day music festival, during the late May Bank Holiday weekend.

Headliners will including the iconic Scottish band, The Proclaimers, who will sing of "A letter from America" but, in this case, will be sure to send postcards home from the leafy Cotswolds town.

A spokesman said: "From rock to reggae, folk to funk, pop to punk and everything in between, there’s something for everyone including free family activities, real ales, fabulous food and a burlesque revue.

"With over 70 bands on three stages, this is a fantastic weekend of live music for all ages."

The Proclaimers will headline on Saturday night, and festival favourites, Doctor & The Medics, will return on the Friday night, followed by Pink Floyd Tribute band.

Children aged 16 and under go free and they will be able to enjoy a free play tent, daily party and fun family activities over the weekend.

The spokesman added: "Real Ales from some of the many surrounding breweries and artisan ciders combine with a mouth-watering selection of foods and plenty of stalls to explore.

"Stroll along the River Thames and take in the beautiful countryside, visit the town’s smart cafes and independent shops or just chill in the campsites, bordering the river and looking out over the fields.
