EVESHAM Festival of Music kicks off in style this month with an all-singing, all-dancing theatrical sensation.

The festival starts on Saturday, June 20 with Back to Broadway, a journey through the world of musicals.

The show, which takes place at Evesham Arts Centre in Prince Henry's School, features tunes from musicals such as Les Miserables, Copacabana, Dirty Dancing and Wicked.

Back to Broadway was formed in 2007, initially to raise funds for Devon based cancer charity, Force.

Since then the show has developed into a musical extravaganza with a cast of singers and dancers drawn from the West End, National Opera and major UK touring productions.

The festival of music is Evesham's bi-annual celebration of all things musical, which runs from June 20-27 at venues around the town.

Tickets for Back to Broadway cost £17.50 and can be bought from Evesham Almonry by calling 01386 446944 or visiting www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk.
