FAMILY events at the RSC in Stratford continue with Play in a Day, on Saturday, July 11. The event for teenagers aged from 15 to 18 involves creating a play inspired by Shakespeare’s themes and characters in six hours. Tickets for family events are available on 0844 8001114.

Tom Hanks takes lead role

TONIGHT is the last chance to catch Tom Hanks in Angels & Demons at Pershore’s Number 8 Arts Centre. The film sees Hanks return as Harvard professor Robert Langdon in a follow-up to The Da Vinci Code. Langdon is called upon to investigate the murder of a high-profile scientist but the trail leads him to the Vatican where a shadowy secret society poses a deadly threat to the church. The film starts at 7.30pm and tickets at £6.50, concessions £6, are available from 01386 555488.
