ONE of Britain’s favourite television chefs, Rustie Lee, is backing a Worcestershire food festival.
Mrs Lee, who shot to fame on TV-AM, will add her own special touch to the Heart of England Fine Food Theatre at the Worcester Feast three-day bash with two daily cookery demonstrations.
Her larger-than-life approach to cooking is set to be a big hit with audiences from Friday to Sunday, September 4-6.
Festival visitors will get the chance to meet Mrs Lee, who will be signing copies of her latest book A Taste of the Caribbean.
The chef will be bringing some of the recipes from her book to life, showing people how to create an authentic Caribbean taste using produce grown in Worcestershire.
The festival is taking place throughout the city and will be hosted at the cathedral, its grounds and the nearby Commandery. For details, visit worcesterfeast.com.
