A LEADING family centre has announced a new 18 month contract to secure its future.

The HOPE Family Centre in Bromyard has been awarded the renewal by Herefordshire County Council. This will allow the centre to continue provide a wide range of family and children support services in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

A Herefordshire council report praises the centre and says: "It was felt that The Hope Centre model supported the whole family to be engaged and that this provided an example of a successful model."

The HOPE Family Centre has provided services for Herefordshire and Worcestershire residents since 1998 and Sarah Eardley, its chief executive, said: "We are delighted that we can continue to provide our wide range of early help, intervention and support services for local families in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. It is testimony to our hard work and commitment in delivering much needed assistance to parents and their children.”

The Centre works alongside key partners in order to deliver support on a wide range of early help and intervention; open to all families, its services include Early Years education; adult learning; multi activities for children; parenting advice; toddler groups and speech and language support.
