A WORCESTER design agency has created a brand identity, brochure and website to launch an innovative mental health and wellbeing programme for young people in education, training and employment.

Clinical psychologist Dr Asha Patel, director of Innovating Minds of Birmingham, gave the Method team the brief of appealing to schools, colleges and universities as well as parents and the students themselves. A social enterprise, Innovating Minds provides accessible psychological support for students, families and teachers to foster emotional wellbeing and resiliency. It covers areas ranging from bullying, sex and drugs to exam pressure, employment and training barriers.

James Roberts, managing director at Method, said: "We have worked very closely with the client to create an eye-catching brand with a fun positive element for both children and adults. We used the idea of space and breaking down the courses/training and guidance options with space elements, which has tied the brand together well. We’ve created an eye-popping booklet that details the different services on offer, and set up a website placing resources at hand. And we’re telling anyone who’ll listen that Innovating Minds’ work offers the supportive jet pack of emotional resiliency that means young people can shoot for the stars and have the fuel to get there."

Dr Patel added: “The Method team has collaborated with Innovating Minds both creatively and practically by slashing our costs. They totally bought into our passion for this project, understanding the concept of helping children to gain confidence, establishing the root of the problems in the early stages, rather than letting issues dwell and become more serious later on in life. I am impressed and delighted by their creativity and switched-on approach to making the creative concept into reality.”
