WORCESTERSHIRE law firm Talbots is undergoing a major rebranding as part of £1m expansion plans.

The company which employs 194 staff across offices in Kidderminster, Stourport on Severn, the Black Country and Staffordshire has unveiled a new corporate identity and a new office in Wolverhampton.

Having exited the national QualitySolicitors brand in May, it has put aside more than £1m for rebranding, recruitment and additional properties, with further plans in place to improve offices in strategic locations.

Chief executive Mary Mocklow said: "We have used our exit from the QS brand to really put a marker in the sand when it comes to our future direction and we wanted to ensure our clients knew we were committed to the local area and local people. The new brand has been designed to capture a simple, yet more modern style and carries the strapline ‘for law, for life’ which reflects our determination to support our clients across all the legal areas they will need us during their lives. We have a new logo, a suite of marketing material and are upgrading the seven local offices in the network. A new website (www.talbotslaw.co.uk) has been created to reflect the new brand and our services to clients.”
