WORCESTERSHIRE firework company G-Force Fireworks will be going for more glory when it takes on two other companies in the British Firework Series Challenge in Cheshire.

The Evesham-based firm will be putting on a firework spectacular at Capesthorne Hall, near Macclesfield, on Saturday, August 11, in the hope of winning the votes of the audience, and returning home with the title.

The event is the second leg of the annual GB Firework Championship Series, organised by Daventry-based MLE Pyrotechnics.

G-Force Fireworks is competing against Flashpoint Fireworks, of Guildford, and Komodo Firewords, of Market Harborough in Leicestershire.

All will put on a 10-minute top-class firework display, choreographed to music, with the audience then texting their votes to the organisers to decide the eventual winners.

“It’s a spectacular night, and if you are thrilled by top- class firework displays, then this is the place for you,” said organiser Mat Lawrence, of MLE.

“G-Force are one of the UK’s best companies, and we’re delighted they’re involved in this competition yet again.”
