TRADING Standards has dealt with £1 million worth of complaints from residents in the last year.
The team has been busy with a host of problems ranging from faulty cars to badly fitted double-glazed windows.
It works in partnership with Consumer Direct, the Government-backed helpline, to offer practical advice to residents.
Ali Cornelius, advice and education manager at the Worcestershire department, said: “Our message to everyone is that we’re here to help and our aim to always to try to resolve any issues to avoid consumers having to go to court.”
