WORCESTER foodbank has benefitted from a generous donation from a city solicitors firm.

Staff at SME solicitors filled the boot of a car with chocolate Easter eggs and treats, which was then taken from the firm's office in Sansome Walk to the Worcester Foodbank in Lowesmoor Wharf for Easter.

The firm also invited clients, contacts, friends and family to get involved, organising a drop off point where people generously gave support to the foodbank.

SME Solicitor’s senior partner Ian Stirzaker said: “As a firm, we employ mainly local residents and hence we are great believers in working together on different community initiatives.

"This charity is a popular choice amongst our partners and staff who are all keen to collect as much as possible."

Worcester Foodbank provides thousands of meals to hungry clients. The charity provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis.
