GENEROUS staff from a Worcestershire recruitment firm has donated hundreds of Easter eggs to local children's hospital wards.

Staff at Redditch headquartered Workforce Staffing collected hundreds of eggs from staff and clients and donated the chocolate treats to help children in hospital have a better Easter.

Workforce’s chief executive Paul Alekna, said: “The simple treat of a chocolate Easter egg can make a huge difference to a child who has to spend this special holiday in hospital.

“It’s all about putting a smile on kids’ faces.

"We’re delighted to have collected so many eggs at our Worcestershire branches to donate in time for Easter.

“Our staff and clients have been brilliant helping to stockpile dozens of eggs, they really got behind the campaign."

Among the eggs collected were Cadbury's, Maltesers, Thorton's and Celebrations.

Workforce, which has an office in Foregate Street, also has a recruitment centre in Dudley, Rugby, Coventry, Solihull and Birmingham, who collected Easter eggs for their hospitals.

Workforce specialise in supplying staff for sectors including logistics, transport, professional services, office and manufacturing.
