A HOUSING developer has expanded its team after opening its new Worcester offices.

Miller Homes Midlands has appointed four new members of staff including Darren Turk, who takes on the role of operations director for the West Midlands region.

Also joining the team are Joe Parker and Sean Brown, who join the commercial department, and Neil Mackay who takes up the role of technical manager.

The office opening has also seen a raft of promotions for the business, including Alastair Parsons moving to the position of area sales director, Justin Purdy becoming area commercial director and Michael Jackson appointed as West Midlands production director.

The news follows the official opening of the firm's new office in Brook Court, Whittington Hall, and the announcement the firm is to build 800 new homes for both the East and West Midlands during 2018.

In the West Midlands 334 new homes are planned, with developments in Warwickshire and Gloucester.

Spread across a number of sites, the developments offer properties suited to everyone from first time buyers to families looking for more space to grow.

Danny O’Connor, regional managing director for Miller Homes Midlands, said: "Both the new appointments, promotions, and the expansion to our Worcester office is testament to how the housing sector is performing across the Midlands.

"There’s real demand for high quality properties in the area, and the new members of the team will certainly help drive our business efforts forward.”

The new office, located at Brook Court at Whittington Hall, officially opened its doors by hosting a special VIP event, attended by some of the industries leading professionals.
