HUNDREDS attended Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s recent business Spring Expo.

The Commerce’s event was held at Three Counties Showground and featured 120 exhibitors, with 800 delegates visiting, and there were free seminars from leading business representatives.

Callum Gill, head of insight and innovation at Hartlebury- based Drp gave a speech on the future of communication in a world of smart phones, which was well received.

Mark Wright, winner of BBC One’s The Apprentice also impressed seminar attendees with his speech on his journey from applying for the hit TV show through to owning his successful business, The Climb.

The Expo, which was sponsored by Hewitt Recruitment, saw the return of the popular food and drink producer’s zone, where businesses were able to break away and network whilst sampling the delicious local produce on offer throughout the day.

In tribute to the Chamber’s recent Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies award, guests were invited to celebrate the accolade on the Chamber’s Membership stand with a specially designed and made cake by Brookes Catering.

Tim Gaunt, chief executive at The Site Doctor, said: “We already feel that the Expo has helped raise The Site Doctor’s profile within Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and we’re hopeful that we’ll be building Chamber member websites soon - time will tell.

“The Expo was well run, and the key note speakers were interesting and relevant in the current economic climate.

"We would definitely recommend attending if you’d like to raise awareness of your business.”
