A WORCESTER firm has continued its growth from a start-up to multi-million pound business, with the launch of a new service.

Rock Power Connections, which has its head office based at Buckholt Business Centre, in Buckholt Drive has grown into a multi-million pound turnover business in just five years.

The firm specialises in the design and installation of new and upgraded electricity connections to commercial and industrial properties throughout the UK. It has now launched Rock Surveying, a new dedicated utilities mapping service.

The side project is the latest for the family run firm, having previously launched specialist energy storage sister firm, Rock Clean Energy, in March 2017.

The firm's operations director, Reece James, said: “The expansion and diversification of the utilities sector has led to an increased difficulty in assessing accurate, current and unambiguous utility asset information. The creation of quality, underground utility surveys quickly overcomes this difficulty, offering risk aversion to those engaged in design, construction and asset maintenance. I are extremely excited about Rock Surveying and the significant benefits this will bring to construction firms and commercial property developers."
