A WORCESTERSHIRE firm, which claims to be one of the fastest growing bearings and engineering suppliers in the UK, is expanding.

Bromsgrove business Wych Bearings, which has grown nationally and internationally is expanding at the Aston Fields Trading Estate, in a deal arranged by Redditch property agents John Truslove.

The firm is determined to build its regional profile and has recently moved from serviced offices with virtually no passing footfall, to now proudly displaying its signboards for all to see.

Wych Bearings director Sean O’Connor said: “Most of our business is online and we want to increase our offer to clients.

“We are high up the Google ratings and we punch quite hard for an SME.

“But very few people in Bromsgrove knew who we were.

"We wanted to raise our local profile and this gives us a bigger presence to put in front of local industry.

“For us, this represents a very significant investment.

"It will allow us to streamline our operations and make our purchasing more efficient."

Wych Bearings are distributors of bearings and power transmission products, and have 20,000 items available to buy online. They offer all types of bearings as well as roller chain, sprockets, oil seals, adhesives, belts and pulleys and much more besides.

It exports to many countries including Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the United States. Product goes into the food sector, automotive and motor sports, and building-related industries.

Mr O’Connor added Bromsgrove is in a central location, ideal for getting materials in from suppliers and orders out to clients.

Ben Truslove, a director of John Truslove, said: “Wych viewed Unit 1 well in advance of it becoming vacant, thanks to our proactive marketing.

"We are delighted to help such a smoothly run local firm to roll-out their expansion plans.
