A DROITWICH firm are set to have a record breaking year, a decade on from the devastating floods that hit the town.

HotelshopUK, a leisure and business travel agent, endured some difficult times after the rains flooded Droitwich High Street in July 2007.

After surviving the impact of the floods, they have grown and the firm is now forecast to have a record breaking year.

The are set to double their turnover in two years from nearly £6 million in 2015, to a projected £12 million at the end of this year.

To celebrate their achievement, they are supporting the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, with a donation from every booking they take in their birthday week, and giving the local community a chance to win one of 50 prizes.

Vivienne Findlay, managing director and owner of HotelshopUK said: “The immediate times after the floods were one of the most difficult times I have endured in my working life.

"It was only with the support of the team, community, local council and our strong relationships with customers and suppliers that saw us break through the other side.

"I am delighted that we are set to have a record breaking year.”
