BUSINESSES across Worcestershire are invited to a free breakfast seminar to hear an expert discuss the implications of Brexit.

Worcester recruitment agency Workforce Staffing is hosting the seminar to help businesses in the area learn more about the changing employment law landscape and the skills and labour challenges Brexit will create.

The seminar will also consider the implementation of The Matthew Taylor Review - a Whitehall-led report which gave recommendations to the government on the classification of workers.

The event takes place at Sixways Stadium on Wednesday, October 18. It will start with breakfast and a networking session at 8.30am, and will finish at 11.15am.

The event’s speaker will be Jeff Brooks, industry specialist and the managing director of PrimeSourcing.

Paul Alekna, chief executive of Workforce Staffing, said: “Jeff will be providing insights on employment in the modern economy, focussing on the implications of Brexit, how people can prepare, the opportunities, and how recent employment recommendations will affect businesses here in Worcestershire.

“The seminar will be essential listening for anyone in the district who employs contractors on a regular basis and overall, ideal for businesses who want to keep up with any changes the looming Brexit process will bring.”

Spaces for the seminar are limited and Workforce is offering the event on a first-come-first-served basis.
