A WORCESTERSHIRE MP has helped a county business celebrate a milestone birthday.

Bristow & Sutor (B&S) welcomed Redditch MP, Rachel MacLean, who congratulated the firm, one of Redditch’s largest employers, on reaching its 40th birthday.

Ms MacLean toured the debt enforcement firm’s central office, in Bartleet Road, and met with CEO Andrew Rose and COO Richard Sutor.

Together they agreed to collaborate in helping more young people from the local community find a place of work.

B&S has been trading since 1977 and now operate across the UK, having recruited 172 of their 322 staff from the Redditch area.

B&S is the only agency in the country to directly hire, train and deploy its own debt collection agents, giving it a reputation for compliance and professionalism.

All of their enforcement agents go through a rigorous three month field and classroom training process to ensure they provide the best possible service.

The company accounted for 16 per cent of collections nationally and handled over 325,000 cases for approximately 140 local authorities, in 2016.

B&S also regularly contribute to the community and local charities.
