A NEW coffee shop is set to open in Worcester city centre this September.

The new family run, independent shop, Coffee 45 will be opening in The Tything sometime next month.

The unit is currently being prepared for opening, which so far includes redecorating inside and out, adding fixtures and fittings.

The shop will serve fresh coffee, bread, cakes, sandwiches and more, with ingredients sourced from local firms.

Owner, Charlotte Goode said: "We are sourcing all our ingredients from local business as we're a big believer in local support.

"We are very different from the normal coffee shop as all our furniture we have up-cycled ourselves, giving that vintage, retro look.

"We also have dedicated one wall in the shop for local artists and photographers to display and sell their work on."

She added this can be done for free, with no commission taken on any work sold, so all of the money goes back to the artist.
