A SUCCESSFUL craft workshops business that has been running for eight years in Pershore, has relocated to a new venue.

Three Little Pigs began life 10-years-ago as a gift shop, selling locally made arts and crafts, supporting and promoting artists and craftspeople in the process.

After two years, the firm began running craft-based workshops. The workshops further highlighted their keenness to support local talent, while providing the perfect opportunity for beginners to learn a new skill in a fun and informal environment.

In the years that followed, the workshop became increasingly popular and at the start of the year after outgrowing their previous home, the decision was made to wave goodbye to the shop, and concentrate solely on providing workshops.

The firm has now moved to nearby Birlingham, at the Village Hall situated opposite St James' Church.

Having moved at the end of July, a few workshoppers have already had the opportunity to experience the new venue – and it has received a big thumbs up.

Owner Fiona Abbott said: “We knew the decision would be met with both excitement and sadness.

"Many of our customers will miss us being on the High Street, whilst others are delighted to see us embrace the workshop side of the business.

“Birlingham is a beautiful village and the hall is perfect for us.

"The extra space the hall provides allows us to offer an even greater variety of workshops.

"We are really excited about the workshops we have planned and look forward to welcoming lots of new workshoppers to our new venue.”

The firm's next workshop is a Needle Felting Workshop, being held on Saturday, August 19, where workshoppers learn the craft of needle felting.

In September, the firm will be running its first ever Willow Sculpture Workshop, which has been made possible due to the larger venue.

Other workshops Fiona and her team of tutors offer include candle making and soap making, silver ring and bangle, sewing, stained glass and sugar crafting.
