WORCESTER-based property consultants Harris Lamb is marketing a 4.84 acre plot of land in Malvern with allocation for up to 59 new homes.

The business is acting on behalf of Worcestershire County Council and Place Partnership Ltd to invite bids from developers for the former BMX track site off North End Lane and Townsend Way.

Jacqui Bayliss, Harris Lamb director, said: “This is a prime development site and one that we are very excited to be bringing to the marketplace.

“This is a well-appointed site in an extremely desirable location.

"We’ve already had a number of approaches from potential buyers and we anticipate a lot of interest from developers over the coming weeks.

“Located just a mile from the Malvern Link mainline railway station and from the town centre, the site is perfectly placed for an exclusive development, and the site has already been allocated under the South Worcestershire Development Plan for up to 59 properties.”

Bids are now being invited from prospective developers for the freehold interest of the site, with the deadline for all submissions being noon on Tuesday, July 18.

Details on the bidding requirements can be obtained by contacting Jacqui Bayliss at Harris Lamb’s Worcester office on 01905 727 845 or Chris Jones at the Birmingham office on 0121 410 2496.
