A NEW Starbucks has opened in Droitwich.

The global coffee chain on Rashwood Hill has created 15 jobs, and opened over on Friday, May 26, celebrating with drink vouchers and coffee and Teavana tastings over the Bank Holiday weekend.

It is located by long term Starbucks license partner, Euro Garages, bringing Starbucks sustainably sourced 100 per cent Arabica coffee, as well as the new cold coffee menu that launched in time for summer to local customers.

The contemporary-designed store is promising comfortable seating areas, and an ideal spot for families, commuters and business workers, as well as offering free WiFi and a conference table with power points.

Mo Tayab, brand manager at Starbucks Euro Garages, said: “We are very excited to be opening a new store in Droitwich.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone and providing a comfortable space for customers to enjoy their favourite drinks.

"We’re excited to start building our relationships with the community here.”

Karen Fenwick, director of franchising and licensing, at Starbucks UK said: “Droitwich is a fantastic place for Starbucks, and we’re very much looking forward to opening a new store in the area.

"We’re delighted to build on our partnership with Euro Garages, who share our commitment to offering our customers first class service and a great cup of coffee.”
