A NEW fitness facility has opened in Worcester hoping to take away the fear factor for a new gym member.
Solv recently opened at the Perrywood Trading Estate in Wylds Lane, and has launched by offering a group bootcamp, women only sessions three times a weeks.
Professional coaches lead sessions at the gym, ensuring members have a full body work out. It has also been designed as a friendly environment, to support people of all abilities and ages.
Charlotte Arntzen, from Solv, said: "Walking into a new gym can often be quite intimidating for both men and women, and we have worked really hard to try and reduce the fear factor, creating somewhere unique, a homely space within a gym and its something that our members really love.
"Exercising shouldn't be about who does what, who wears what or who's been to the gym the most times in a single week, it should just be about you, your ability, your goals and fitting in with your lifestyle.
"Functional fitness promotes a healthy lifestyle for as long as possible and we promote functional fitness, working through exercises in class that support our daily lives such as squatting or deadlifting - its all about keeping ourselves independent and moving for as long as possible."
