MULTI-award winning events and communications company drp has earned a commendable two stars in the year's Best Companies accreditations.

The Best Companies organisation quantifies the standards of companies based on surveys taken by their employees.

Drp, which has headquarters in Hartlebury, near Kidderminster, has been a Best Company accredited organisation for the past seven years, and is also a gold standard Investor in People.

Various organisations from a wide range of industries used the Best Company’s employee survey in 2016 to measure the engagement of their employees. The responses from these surveys are collated and combined to produce an overall engagement score for each organisation.

Dale Parmenter, chief executive at drp, said: “When the team is motivated in what they are doing, they’re happier, as well as more productive and invested in the company’s success.

"Our aim is to use this invaluable information gained from the surveys to progress and improve our workplace.

Last year was a prosperous year when more than £250,000 of investment went into the team’s professional development, such as training and apprenticeships, as well as £200,000 in leadership and client insight.
