A THRIVING media training club founded by Worcester-based communications consultancy Chris Green Media is three years old.

The CGM Business Media Club, which meets on the last Friday of every month at Wild Wood Rooms, Wildwood Drive, combines media training, personal development and networking for company owners, managers and marketing staff. Each meeting is themed with the club’s anniversary meeting on Friday, September 30, presented by CGM managing partner Chris Green, focusing on three key communications plan essentials.

The club covers ten major media topics each year split into three main themes: communications, PR and marketing and image and reputation. Members choose specific strategies and skills in each category to provide insight and inspiration. In 2016, the club is supporting Mentor Link, which provides support to distressed children and young people, with a representative from the charity attending each meeting.

Mr Green said: “Our motto is ‘all egos are left at the door’. The club thrives on interaction and inclusion, enabling people to ask questions and have their say so they grasp new concepts, share thoughts and network effortlessly. We’ve seen people change their entire outlook on marketing for the better over the past three years and long may it continue.”

Visitors are welcome to attend the anniversary meeting, which runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm. For more details, call 01905 453908 or email info@chrisgreenmedia.co.uk
