DUNELM, the homewares retailer, is opening a new store in Worcestershire.

It will be moving into Grove Street, Redditch on Monday, October 3, looking to recruit more than 30 new members of staff to its team. The new store, which was previously the Staples building, will have a separate mezzanine floor and will also include a Pausa Café for customers, offering tea, coffee, cold drinks, sweet treats and lunches.

Dunelm Redditch store manager, Mark Tomkins, said: “We are looking forward to becoming a new neighbour to the Redditch community. There is a strong retail offering within the town but we’ve spotted a gap in the market for Dunelm’s extensive collection of homewares and hope we can cater for the diverse range of shoppers within the community.

“We have an exciting opening day planned and we hope the local community will join us at our official opening day. In the meantime, we are looking for enthusiastic members of staff to join us as we become a part of the community and have a range of jobs available from sales assistants to team leaders."

The store is undergoing a £1.5m pound investment and will offer over 20,000 home furnishing products across homewares, furniture and garden. Dunelm’s Made to Measure Bespoke Service will also be available, which allows shoppers to choose from more than 4,000 fabrics to create curtains, blinds and accessories. Expert in-store advisors will be on hand to help provide customers with advice.
