AWARD-winning Malvern marketing agency Pepperneck has gained tax relief from the Government for developing software which helps firms that export.

The company headquartered in Sandys Road has secured a research and development tax credit claim for the in-house creation of its innovative web-based distributor support tool Distribute. Designed to aid businesses in exporting, Distribute is Pepperneck’s bespoke information portal specifically created to make life easier for international businesses that rely on the distribution of product or service information to key stakeholders and sales partners as part of their sales strategy.

Initially developed in late 2012, Distribute has received excellent feedback from international companies which have used it to efficiently manage huge amounts of data and resources, vital to supporting their global distributor networks. Receiving the research and development tax credit claim recognises the benefits Distribute provides for UK businesses looking to expand their market share overseas.

Pepperneck’s production and technology director, Stefan Potter, said: "I am delighted that Pepperneck has received the R&D tax credit claim for Distribute. We will now be reinvesting the funds into the development of other innovative technology based projects.”

Pepperneck works with and acts as the "marketing department" for a number of clients across the UK from a range of industry sectors. Alongside marketing for export, it also provides services in website design, search engine marketing, digital marketing, public relations and social media management.
