WORCESTERSHIRE training and recruitment specialist eResponse Group is exporting its pioneering crowd safety training to Australia.

The award-winning business, which has six branches including offices in Worcester, Redditch and Kidderminster, has opened eResponse Crowd Safety Australia, based in Epping, New South Wales.

The new Australian division will be headed by experienced security and crowd management experts Jim and Tara Fidler, who will work closely with eResponse’s crowd safety director, Andy Hollinson.

Mr Hollinson said: “We have seen a superb response to the crowd safety training that we’ve offered across the world since last year. Establishing and investing into a permanent base in Australia is a natural step forward for us, especially after building such strong links there through our partnership with Jim and Tara. Both are widely respected in the industry and will help drive our growth in a new market. It’s an exciting time to launch eResponse Crowd Safety Australia and we are delighted to be leading the way.”

eResponse Crowd Safety Australia will offer a full range of crowd safety qualifications such as front of stage pit operations, event security operations and also stewarding for event staff.

eResponse will also offer its new level five diploma in crowd science and risk analysis, the only training firm in the world to offer the qualification. The diploma is a three-day course for people who design, plan and manage the movement of people in sport, entertainment, shopping and transport environments. The crowd safety division works with a variety of event organisers, police forces and sports stadium operators to deliver training to staff in crowd management, security and event planning.
