FAST growing Malvern software company borwell, which started in Worcester 12 years ago and has developed into one of the cyber successes of Malvern Science Park, is expanding its team.

It has taken on two new apprentices and Alistair Druett has joined as marketing and business development manager.

Director Steve Borwell-Fox said: “When it comes to software developers it is very hard to find a candidate with the correct skills, so at borwell we will take skilled apprentices and train them with the right skills to meet the growing demand in both arms of our business, defence and b2b bespoke software. We now have a great team, from keen apprentices to very experienced, highly skilled graduate developers, who all bring new skills and knowledge with them.”

Mr Druett, who will work closely with director Andrea Borwell-Fox on the marketing of the organisation and looking at new marketing avenues, added: “I am really looking forward to working with such a great, well respected company like borwell. I can remember when borwell first set up and I was at the area Chamber of Commerce. It is great to see a local company grow and help business locally, nationally and internationally and get their systems to work for them instead of working around the systems they have.”
