IF you are a sheep taking on a wolf it can be a mucky contest, but fortunately the Wolf Run involves more mud than blood.

At least judging by the appearance of a team from Worcestershire organic baby brand The Little Green Sheep, who emerged from an event at Leamington very muddy indeed.

Account manager John Harrold, Emma Alexander and Charlotte Eastham from customer service and creative marketing executive Samantha Owen took part in the Wolf Run, 10K off road run through woodland, lakes and thick mud, and completed the course in less than two hours. Their efforts raised more than £700 for the Lullaby Trust, a support charity for child bereavement which promotes safer sleep and raises awareness of sudden infant death..

Mark Nicholls, who co-founded The Little Green Sheep company, said: "Having done lots of fundraising for the charity over the years, we were thrilled four of our flock excelled in the latest challenge and raised a great amount of money for such a good cause. We are very proud of them for taking part in the Wolf Run challenge. It was great fun and it is encouraging to see the team so motivated to raise money for a wonderful charity."

The Little Green Sheep has always been a keen supporter of the Lullaby Trust and has developed a range of natural and organic mattresses which follow the recommendations and advice Trust provide.
