THERE is to be a new main sponsor for Malvern's Royal Three Counties Show in June.

Santander UK has been announced as headline sponsor for the 2015 event, which takes place from June 12-14.

Ken Nottage, chief executive of the Three Counties Agricultural Society, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Santander UK to our stable of influential sponsors and partners. Santander’s community ethos aligns perfectly with our work at Three Counties where we are striving to showcase innovation and excellence and to support local and national industries.”

Spencer Greaves, regional manager at Santander, added: "The partnership with the Royal Three Counties Show is an example of our commitment to supporting the communities within which we operate and our goal of being a bank that is simple, personal and fair. We are really looking forward to taking part in the show which helps to improve the understanding between urban and rural communities.”

The new partnership with Santander is more than just a financial sponsorship as the bank will be actively involved in the event as it looks to support local communities and to help people and businesses prosper. The show has a unique heritage dating back to 1797 and is a much celebrated three days at the heart of the community’s social tradition. This year it will be known as the Royal Three Countries Show in association with Santander.
